1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the LifeCentral website, application, account services, and support interactions operated by Horton Scientific Corporation.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create or access an account, we receive information needed to identify and secure that account, such as your email address, display name, account identifier, authentication provider, and assigned plan.
Billing and subscription information
If you start a Pro trial, subscribe, or manage billing, LifeCentral stores subscription status, selected billing interval, trial and billing-period dates, cancellation state, payment-method readiness, and Stripe customer, subscription, Price, and event identifiers. Stripe collects and processes payment details through its hosted Checkout and billing portal. LifeCentral does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
Workspace information
LifeCentral stores the information you choose to add to your workspace, including tasks, projects, meeting notes and reviewed action items, schedules, focus history, saved links, countdowns, income schedules, preferences, and related planning data.
Connected services
If you connect an optional service, LifeCentral processes the information required for the feature you enabled. Calendar connections can import selected event data and, only when separately authorized, update supported source fields. Capture Sources can temporarily retrieve bounded Gmail, Outlook, Teams, Planner, Microsoft To Do, or SharePoint candidates for your review. Unreviewed candidates remain in the active browser session; only items you explicitly import, their displayed fields, source provenance, and a duplicate-protection receipt become workspace data. Meeting-to-Action uses event data already synchronized through an optional calendar connection; it stores the notes and source provenance you choose to retain but does not modify the source event. Account sign-in does not by itself connect a calendar or Capture Source.
Persistent Google Calendar authorization
When you connect Google Calendar, LifeCentral stores your Google account identifier and email, selected calendars, granted permissions, and encrypted authorization credentials on its servers, separately from your workspace. Refresh credentials let LifeCentral renew access without routine reconnection. These credentials are not returned to your browser or included in workspace exports. Existing calendar synchronization runs while you use the app; this feature does not add closed-app background synchronization. Signing out of LifeCentral preserves the connection for later visits. Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored credentials and attempts to revoke the Google grant; previously imported events remain unless you remove them. Credentials are also removed when your LifeCentral Auth account is deleted. Google can expire or revoke access, in which case you must reconnect. This persistent authorization applies to Calendar, not Gmail Capture or Microsoft integrations.
Optional voice capture
When you explicitly start Voice capture, the browser speech service may transmit audio to its speech provider for transcription under that provider's own terms and privacy rules. LifeCentral does not record or store audio files or upload audio through a LifeCentral transcription server. Browser-service mode requires acknowledgement before Start and normal browser microphone permission. Where available, an optional experimental on-device-only mode requires local processing and does not silently fall back to a remote provider. Unsaved drafts, interim speech, and speech-session settings remain temporary browser-runtime information; only text you explicitly save becomes ordinary workspace data and may be synchronized or included in a backup. Language-pack downloads, when separately requested, are managed by your browser.
Technical and support information
Our hosting, authentication, and infrastructure providers may process standard request information such as browser type, device information, timestamps, network address, and service logs. When you contact support, we receive the information you provide.
3. How we use information
- Provide, synchronize, and secure your account and workspace.
- Run features you choose to use, including calendar, Meeting-to-Action, External Capture, weather, link preview, mobile capture, and optional voice input.
- Maintain reliability, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and support account recovery.
- Respond to questions and provide customer support.
- Improve usability, performance, and product capabilities.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate LifeCentral, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transaction involving the service.
Service providers may include hosting, database, authentication, email, payment, and infrastructure companies. Stripe processes trial, checkout, subscription, invoice, cancellation, and payment-method information when you use Pro billing. Google and Microsoft receive information when you choose their sign-in or integration services under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Account and workspace security
LifeCentral uses encrypted network connections and account-scoped database controls designed to restrict each user to their own workspace. Plan assignments are controlled outside the browser. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so use a strong password, protect your sign-in methods, and avoid placing highly sensitive secrets in general planning fields.
6. Your choices and controls
- You choose whether to connect optional integrations.
- Meeting notes and proposed actions are saved only when you choose to save them. Tasks and project handoffs require a separate itemized preview and explicit approval.
- Voice capture is optional. You may decline microphone access, stop listening, choose supported local-only processing, or use typing instead. Nothing is saved from voice until you choose a save or creation action.
- You may export and import your workspace using the backup controls in Settings.
- You may use the Stripe-hosted billing portal to add or update a payment method, change billing interval where available, view invoices, or cancel a paid subscription.
- You may disconnect supported integrations and may revoke provider access through the provider’s account settings.
- You may request account deletion or privacy assistance at support@hortonscientific.com.
7. Data retention
We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and for a reasonable period needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Subscription and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargeback, and legal purposes. Stripe separately retains information under its own privacy policy. Backup copies and provider logs may remain for limited periods after information is removed from the active system.
8. Children
LifeCentral is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LifeCentral changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or account contact information.
